How to remove the background from a logo
- Drop the logo in. A JPG from an email, a screenshot, a PNG with a white box.
- Check the edges. Fine lines and lettering are kept. Touch up any spot with the brush if the logo and the box share a color.
- Download the PNG. Transparent, the same size as the file you dropped.
Getting the best result
- Start with the largest copy
- A logo pulled from a website is small. Ask for the original or run the PNG through Upscale image afterwards for print and slides.
- Thin text and lines
- Letters and rules are kept as drawn. Where a line is the same color as the box, the brush restores it in a stroke.
- Vector logos
- If you have the SVG, SVG to PNG gives a transparent PNG at any size with no cutting at all.
