Most free upscalers hand you a small, watermarked preview and charge for the real file, or stop you after one image a day. Here the full-size result is the free download, every time.
- Works with
- Photos, screenshots, product shots, logos, scans and art. JPG, PNG, WebP and iPhone HEIC.
- Comes back as
- The upscaled image at 2x or 4x, as PNG, JPG or WebP, up to about 8K on the long side.
- Detail
- Edges sharpen, noise and JPG blockiness go, skin and fabric keep their texture instead of turning plastic.
- Compare
- Drag the divider across the picture and zoom right into the pixels to see exactly what changed.
- Price
- Free, no watermark, no sign-up. The Pro model, with every face restored, is one credit a photo with a free account.
How to upscale an image in three steps
- Drop your photo in and pick a size. Or paste it straight from the clipboard. 2x cleans up a photo that is already a decent size; 4x makes a small one big enough for print or a full screen. The page shows the exact result size before you start.
- Press Upscale and compare. Drag the divider to see before and after side by side, pinch or scroll to zoom into the detail, and hold Compare to flip back to the original.
- Download. PNG for the cleanest file, JPG or WebP for a smaller one. The full-size result is yours, no watermark.
Made for the images you actually use
- Product photos
- A phone shot or a supplier's small image becomes a crisp, zoomable listing photo for Amazon, Etsy, Shopify or an ad. Text on packaging stays readable.
- Thumbnails and covers
- A frame grabbed from a video or a screenshot goes up to full thumbnail size without the soft, blocky look.
- Old and small photos
- A photo saved from a chat, an old website or a scan comes back large and clear, big enough to frame.
- An 800-pixel web image at 4x is 3200 pixels: a sharp 10-inch print at 300 dpi instead of a blurry one.
- Screenshots and graphics
- Logos, diagrams and app screenshots enlarge with clean edges, with an option to keep every pixel exactly as it was.
Sharper, bigger, still your photo
- The detail is rebuilt from the picture itself: an edge becomes a clean edge, grain becomes smooth tone, a soft face becomes a clear one. Nothing changes the shape of what is there.
- Zoom all the way in and drag the divider. If you would rather keep every pixel exact, tick Classic resize, no AI, and get a smooth enlargement with a light sharpen instead.
- The Pro model, signed in, goes further: real texture on skin, hair, fabric and text, and every face in the photo restored.
Questions people ask
How do I upscale an image without losing quality?
Drop it here, pick 2x or 4x and press Upscale. Instead of stretching pixels, the tool rebuilds edges and texture at the new size, so the result looks like a larger photo rather than a blown-up one. Drag the divider to check it against the original before you download.
Is it really free, with no watermark?
Yes. The full-size result is the free download. There is no watermark, no preview-only file and no sign-up to get it.
What is the biggest image I can upscale?
Results go up to about 8K on the long side. A very large photo is worked on at a smaller size first so the result fits in the browser, and the page tells you the exact size before you press the button.
What do 2x and 4x mean?
2x doubles the width and height, so a 1000 by 800 photo becomes 2000 by 1600 with four times the pixels. 4x makes it 4000 by 3200. Pick 2x to clean up a photo that is already a decent size, 4x to make a small one big enough for print or a full screen.
Can it fix a blurry photo?
Soft focus, small size and compression blur come back sharp. Heavy motion blur improves but cannot be fully undone; the Pro model does the most with it, especially on faces.
What does the Pro model add?
The Pro model rebuilds finer detail: skin, hair, fabric and text come back with real texture, and every face is restored so eyes, lips and hairlines are clear. It is one credit a photo with a free account, and the result comes back the same way, ready to compare and download.
Can I enlarge without AI, so nothing is invented?
Yes. Tick Classic resize, no AI and you get a smooth enlargement with a light sharpen and nothing made up, the right choice for a diagram, a logo or anything that has to stay exactly as it was.
Which formats can I use?
JPG, PNG, WebP and iPhone HEIC go in. You can download as PNG, JPG or WebP.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Drop in a photo from your camera roll, pinch to zoom in on the result, and the download lands in your photos like any other file.
Why does the first photo take a moment?
The first time on a device the tool gets itself ready, which takes a few seconds. After that, photos start at once.
