How to download a video or post

  1. Copy the link. From the share button on Instagram, YouTube, X or TikTok, or from the address bar. A reel, a post, a carousel, a video or a Short; any link to one item.
  2. Paste it and pick a quality. Best gives up to 1080p with sound. 720p and 480p give smaller files. Photos always come at full size.
  3. Download. One button for a single video or photo; a grid with a button per item for carousels. Ready in seconds for short clips, up to a minute or two for long ones.

What works on each platform

Instagram
Reels, video posts, photo posts and carousels from public accounts. A carousel shows every photo and video in the post; download the ones you want. Stories, private accounts and posts that require a login can't be reached.
YouTube
Videos and Shorts up to 30 minutes, at up to 1080p with sound, with the Save button on a computer. Live streams once the replay is available; not while live, and not members-only or age-restricted videos.
X
Videos in public posts, including replies and quotes, and every video when a post has more than one. Not Spaces, and not videos in protected accounts.
TikTok
Public videos. TikTok's own watermark stays on the file. Photo slideshows and private videos can't be reached.

What you get

Limits and fair use

  • Videos up to 30 minutes and 500 MB. Longer or larger is refused up front rather than failing halfway.
  • 20 downloads an hour and 2 GB a day per person. Enough for a working day, not enough to mirror a channel.
  • Only public videos. The tool doesn't sign in anywhere and can't get past private accounts, paywalls or age gates.
  • Download what you have the right to keep: your own content, content you have permission to reuse, or what you're entitled to save for personal use where you live.

Why it keeps working

  • Each platform runs in its own lane. If one platform changes how videos are served, the other three are unaffected.
  • Every four hours a check reads a known public video on each platform. If it fails, we're emailed with the exact error, and the platform shows as paused here until the fix is out.
  • Fixes for platform changes usually ship within a day.

Questions people ask

Which links work?

The link to a post: an Instagram reel, post or carousel, a YouTube video or Short, a post on X, or a TikTok video. Copy it from the share button or the address bar; tracking tags on the end are ignored. Profile pages, playlists, hashtags and search pages don't work; the link has to point at one post.

Why did my download fail?

Usually one of four things. The account is private or the video needs a login, which the tool can't get past. The video was removed or the link is wrong. It's a live stream that hasn't finished. Or the platform changed something on their side; when that happens we're alerted within hours and the platform shows as paused here until it's fixed.

Can I download Instagram photos and carousels?

Yes. Paste the post link and every photo and video in it appears with its own download button, plus a download-all. Photos come at the full size Instagram serves. Stories and private accounts can't be reached.

What quality do I get?

Up to 1080p with sound, as an MP4 that plays on every phone, editor and platform. Pick 720p or 480p for a smaller file. It can't be sharper than the original upload.

Is there a watermark?

We don't add one. TikTok bakes its own watermark into most videos it serves, and that stays.

What are the limits?

Videos up to 30 minutes and 500 MB, 20 downloads an hour and 2 GB a day per person. Files are kept for 24 hours and then deleted.

Can I download just the audio?

Does it work on a phone?

Yes, in any browser, no app. On iPhone, Safari saves the file to Files; on Android it goes to Downloads.

Is it allowed?

Download videos you have the right to keep: your own posts, content you have permission to reuse, or material you're entitled to save for personal use where you live. The tool only reaches videos that are public; it doesn't bypass private accounts, logins or paywalls.

Is my link stored?

The link and the file are kept only as long as the job takes plus the 24-hour download window, then deleted. Nothing is tied to an account, because there isn't one.
