Free HTML renderer
Render HTML for free Paste HTML on the left, see the page on the right.
Paste the HTML, or open a file, and the page renders beside it as you type: styles and scripts included, at phone, tablet or full width. If it isn't HTML, it says so plainly. Free.
Rendered in a sandbox.

- The rendered page beside the source, updated as you type, with CSS and JavaScript running.
- Runs
- In your browser.
- Limits
- 2 MB per document. No daily limit.
- Price
- Free. No account.
How to render HTML online
- Paste the HTML. Or drop a .html file on the box, or press Sample to see one. The page appears on the right straight away.
- Edit and watch. Change anything on the left and the right side follows as you type. Switch the preview to phone or tablet width to see how it wraps.
- Take it with you. Copy the HTML, download it as a .html file, or go full screen to look at the page on its own.
What it renders, and what it tells you
- Styles
- CSS in style tags and style attributes, exactly as a browser applies it.
- Scripts
- JavaScript in the page runs, inside a sandbox that can't reach anything outside the preview. If a script stops with an error, it tells you which one and on which line.
- Images and embeds
- Anything linked by URL loads as it would on the web.
- Phone and tablet widths
- Narrow the preview to 390 or 820 pixels to check how the page wraps on a small screen.
- Loose ends
- Tags opened and never closed, or closing tags with no opener, are listed with their line numbers, so you can fix what browsers would otherwise guess at.
- Not HTML at all
- Paste JSON, Markdown, plain text or a link and it says so instead of showing you a blank page.
Made for
- Checking the HTML an assistant wrote before you use it anywhere.
- Previewing an email template or a landing page section without a server.
- Opening an .html file someone sent you, without saving it or trusting it.
- Trying a snippet from a tutorial or a forum answer to see what it does.
- Testing HTML on a phone or a work laptop where you can't install anything.
Good to know
- Scripts in the preview can't reach this site, your other tabs or your files.
Questions people ask
Is it free to render HTML here?
Yes. No account, no sign-up, no limit on how often you use it. The only limit is 2 MB per document.
Does it run CSS and JavaScript?
Yes. Styles apply and scripts run, inside a sandbox. Errors thrown by a script are reported under the preview with the line number.
Can I open an .html file from my computer?
Yes. Drop it on the box or use Open a file.
How do I view the HTML that ChatGPT or another assistant wrote?
Copy the code block from the chat and paste it here. You see the page at once, and any script errors or unclosed tags are listed so you can ask for a fix.
Why does it say my HTML has loose ends?
A tag was opened and never closed, or a closing tag has no opener. Browsers guess at what you meant, and different browsers guess differently, so it points at the line.
Why does it say this isn't HTML?
There were no tags in what you pasted. That usually means the text of a page was copied instead of its source, or it's JSON or Markdown. Paste the source, which has tags like <div> and <p>.
Can I check how the page looks on a phone?
Yes. Pick Phone or Tablet above the preview to narrow it to 390 or 820 pixels, the widths media queries usually target.
Is this an HTML editor?
It's a renderer with a working editor on the left: you can type, paste and fix, then copy or download the result. It doesn't save projects or share links;
