How to rotate a PDF and save it

  1. Drop the PDF in. Every page appears as a thumbnail, so the sideways ones are easy to spot.
  2. Rotate. Rotate all turns every page 90° clockwise; click again for 180° or 270°. For single pages, hover one and click its arrow, or select a few and click Rotate selected.
  3. Download. The rotated PDF, ready to open, send or print.

Rotation that sticks

  • The rotation is written into each page, the way the PDF format intends. Nothing is re-rendered, so text stays sharp and selectable and the file does not grow.
  • Every viewer honours it: Preview, Acrobat, Chrome, phones, print dialogs.

Questions people ask

How do I rotate a PDF and save it?

Drop the file in, click Rotate all (or rotate single pages), then Download. The rotation is saved in the new file.

Can I rotate just one page?

Yes. Hover the page and click its rotate arrow, or focus it and press R. The rest stay as they are.

Why does my PDF open sideways again after I rotated it in a viewer?

Most viewers rotate the view, not the file. This tool writes the rotation into the pages, so it stays.

Does rotating lower the quality?

No. Nothing is redrawn. The page is the same page with a rotation instruction added.

Can I rotate 180° or counter-clockwise?

Each click turns 90° clockwise. Two clicks is 180°, three is counter-clockwise.

Does it work with scanned PDFs?

Yes, and that is the most common use: scans where a few pages went through sideways.
