How to convert a PDF to JPG

  1. Drop the PDF in. Every page appears as a thumbnail.
  2. Pick the pages. Click the ones you want, or take them all. Rotate any that are sideways first.
  3. Download images. One page gives you a JPG; several give you a ZIP of them, named file-p1.jpg, file-p2.jpg and so on.

What you get

150 dpi by default: an A4 page is 1240 × 1754 pixels, a US Letter page 1275 × 1650. Pick 72 dpi for screens or 300 dpi for print.
Rotation
If you rotate a page in the grid, the JPG comes out rotated.
Names
The PDF's name plus the page number, so a folder of them sorts in order.
Many pages
Several pages come as one ZIP, so a 40-page deck is one download.

How do I convert a PDF to JPG?

Drop the file in and click Download as JPGs. Every page becomes an image. To convert one page, click it first.

Can I convert only one page?

Yes. Click the page to select it, then Download as JPGs. Only the selected pages are converted.

What resolution are the images?

150 dpi. An A4 page comes out at 1240 × 1754 pixels.

Can I get PNG instead of JPG?

Yes. Pick PNG under Format, or use the PDF to PNG page, which starts on it.

Is text sharp?

At 150 dpi, yes for reading on screens and for normal prints. For very small text, zoom in on the thumbnail first to check the page is not a low-quality scan.

Is there a limit on pages?

No fixed one. Several pages come as one ZIP; for very long PDFs, select the pages you need.
