How to remove vocals from a song
- Drop the song in. It plays at once, so you can check it is the right one.
- Press Split the song. A progress bar shows where it is; the stems are ready in about two minutes.
- Mute the vocals and download the rest. Tick drums, bass and other, and Download selected gives you the karaoke track. The vocals stem on its own is the acapella.

Does it remove backing vocals too?
Yes, lead and backing vocals go together into the vocals stem, so the rest is a clean karaoke track.
How clean is the result?
Studio grade, among the best available today. On most songs the band has no audible singing left. The hardest cases are heavy reverb and vocals buried in dense guitars, where a faint trace can remain.
Can I get just the vocals?
Yes. The vocals stem is the isolated acapella, downloadable on its own.
