SRT generator at a glance
An SRT is only useful when the times are right. Here every line has a start and an end you can type or drag, the words inside keep their timing, and the file downloads the moment you are done.
- Works with
- MP4, MOV and WebM. Subtitles written from the sound, every word timed.
- Comes back as
- SRT, VTT and plain text, and an MP4 with the subtitles burned in at the size of your video.
- Editing
- Every line is text with a start and an end: edit, split, join, retime on the strip, drag anywhere on the picture, undo.
- Runs
- In your browser.
- Price
- Free, no watermark.
How it works
- Drop the video in. MP4, MOV or WebM.
- Choose Auto captions. The words come back from the sound with their timing, grouped into lines you can regroup.
- Fix and download. Edit any line, retime it, then download the SRT or VTT. Or burn them into an MP4 on the same screen.
